Fun favours for Christmas!

Ooo.. The past days have been quite crazy. :( Just lost a puppy and a rabbit all in a span of 2 days. My hearts saddened by their sudden passing.

So, to take my heart and mind away, I drowned myself in crafts. Thats my best sanctuary when I need to getaway.

I've created a Favour box which you may use for stocking stuffers or just as a door gift for your guest! Its simple and nice. very chrismassy too! :0)

Hope you like it and enjoyed your visit! *hugs*

I will be entering this project into:

Fun with Shrinky Dinks!

Usually, my weekends are pretty swamped with Grocery Shopping, or something else...there always seem to be something to do. :)

But this weekend, I decided to stay in. The weather lately have been awesome. Rainy, Cool and ahh.... makes you feel Lazy! lol.

My daughter got home from her 1st holy Communion camp and showed me her drawing. I thought it was awesome. So I've decided to put it onto Shrinky Dink for her to show and tell to her friends at school. She was so excited!

Here's her actual drawing:

And here's the drawing which I traced onto the Shrinky Dink to make it into a keyring.

So, if your kids are complaining they are bored; this is one great craft you can do with them. Of course, please make sure there's always a parent present.

Thank you for visiting! *hugs*

Pst! Maybe I should make a few of these! Lol!

Pinky Blinky Christmas Anyone?

Ever since I've started joining in on these card challenges, I have seen some improvements in my card making skills. :) After stopping crafting for such a long time, I was afraid at first that my Creative Juices have all run dry. Lol. Am sure glad it hasn't.

In fact, I am having such a Fun and Pinkilicious time doing this card. Ho! Ho! Ho!

This is yet another of my PINK cards to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month! I will be entering this card onto Holly Jolly Christmas and Crimbo Crackers Card Challenge.

Hope you have a Blessed weekend and Thank you once again for visiting! *hugs*

Rocking Around the Grinch-mas Tree

I can't believe it! It's already FRIDAY???? Where have all the time gone to?

I could not sleep. So, I hopped over at Jingle Belles to check out their latest challenge and Joy behold! their theme this time around is Holiday Creature Feature. Lol.

Indeed Lauren, I agree its a weird choice but I must admit...I LOVE IT! :) The first thing that came to my mind when I read that word "CREATURE"...my ever loving MR GRINCH. OOooo.. I LOVE the Grinch. When the movie first came out, I was all over it! Don't you just love the way Jim Carrey acted his part?

Anyhow, the creator of the Grinch is even more ingenious! I used to read a lot of Dr. Seuss books when I was a lil kid and I still enjoy them! :)

On a lighter note:
I found these on Pinterest and this lady's site On The Card. I thought it was really funny... Lol.

Oh well.. as you can see, there's nothing much to shout about with this card.. but I really enjoyed doing it! You see, I have never been successful with Shrinkies. They really failed on me every time I tried to bake them. So, I thought I'll try using my heat gun instead to heat the shinkie and TA-DAH! It works! It works! Woo hoo! I finally did it!

So, here's my card for you to enjoy! Have a blessed weekend! *hugs*

A Purplely Christmas...

Never in my wildest dream have I ever thought of doing nor seen a PURPLE Christmas card. This is my first attempt and while I was making this card, it just somehow reminded me of BARNEY! Lol... Remember his Colour All Around song?

Oh well... I still love Barney. (I have no choice as I have a 2yrs old who loves watching it)

As you know, I dont have that many stamps. Let alone stamps of Christmas but thats alright. I love cutting papers and traced the snowflake from google web search.

Snip! Snip! Snip! and here's my card which I will be entering for:

Hope you enjoyed your visit here! Have a Blessed day!
*hugs*

A lil something different Christmas Card

I popped by Card making and Papercraft today to check on what's new and any interesting challenges going on and  was excited to one interesting challenge : Quick Cards trend challenge

What's so interesting about it was  - it was about Scandinavian Christmas. Boy! Surely wish I could someday visit Scandinavia and experience Christmas there! How awesome would that be? :)

Well, I love the simplicity of  their Designs - feels so traditional and yet unique. This is what I came out with -
Enjoy your time here! *hugs*

This card will also be entered into Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge

Less Is More - Week 88 Colour

When I came across this site, I was attracted to the theme - SILVER.

Immediately, my mind started wandering. :) Silver bells, Silver Words....Then I thought of making a Wedding Card. Since we use these colours frequently with Wedding Stationeries, Cards, Decorations and so on...

But on the other hand, I am currently on Christmas Mode. And as I was sitting with my thinking cap on, the song Silver bells by Bing Crosby came on. How timely...

So, here's my card! Hope you enjoyed your visit here.

Have a Blessed Weekend! *hugs*
